Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts

The Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts is the world's oldest existing biennial exhibition of contemporary graphic arts. Founded in 1955 on the idea and endeavours of Božidar Jakac and under the great engagement of Zoran Kržišnik, the Ljubljana Biennale has hosted well over 5,000 artists from 80 countries. Organised by the International Centre of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana, the Biennale is a member of the International Biennial Association (IBA).

Lighting Guerrilla Festival

First held in 2008, Lighting Guerrilla (Svetlobna gverila) is a unique festival that explores, elaborates and sheds light on the myriad relations between light, the public space and the "confines" of the gallery walls. Initiated in 2007 as a workshop at the festival Lighting Detectives (Detektivi svetlobe), it is founded and run by Strip Core, otherwise predominantly active as the comic art section of Forum Ljubljana.
